HOOF SAVER Copper Bath Additive - HOOF SAVER is recommended for use where there is high alkalinity in the make up water or from other environmental conditions, such as lime in bedding, etc.  HOOF SAVER is a concentrated, buffered, liquid inorganic acid, which when added to copper sulfate footbaths activates the available copper for greater effectiveness and permits the use of considerably less copper sulfate in the footbath.  Bacteria responsible for Hary Wart and Foot Rot cannot survive in the low pH environment created by HOOF SAVER.  The addition of copper sulfate to the footbath assures a rapid kill of bacteria.

HOOF SAVER is safe to work with and handle.  No obnoxious odors or harmful fumes.  For normal usage, make up a standard 50 gallon copper sulfate footbath using only 10 lbs of dry copper sulfate, then add only 64 oz's of HOOF SAVER to activate the footbath.  HOOF SAVER dissolves completely and readily in both hard and soft waters and environmentally friendly as it considerably reduces the amount of copper sulfate used.
